Where do we come from? Where are we headed? What makes us human? The new Goethe-Institut touring exhibition, "Universe. Mankind. Intelligence." (UMI), which was developed in cooperation with the Max Planck Society, addresses these basic questions about humankind. The five sections in the exhibition - the universe, the history of mankind, the brain, the anthropocene and artificial intelligence - touch on and connect these questions. They are also scientifically extremely relevant and of our time.
